Cup Holder hack.

Just thought I’d share this little hack to enlarge the height and width of the cup holder. All you need is this 4” corrugated pipe adapter from Home Depot. http://www.homedepot.com/p/4-in-Poly...62AA/100149124

Cut just below the indents and a little off the bottom to fit flush and voila. No more spilled drinks.

You can notch the drivers side if you don’t like the edge hitting your calf.

Mods feel free to post this to the other gens as I believe they are the same cup holder.

How did you cut them? I would think if you cut on a miter saw/chop box could get the cut neater. Might be able to get some different colored "c" trim that would flex around the top. Has me thinking

Use masking tape for the line. Razor knife cuts real easy as it’s soft plastic.

I guess some chrome door edge guard warmed up might go on around the top.

My wife did the same thing, but she loves that the coffee stays in place now on those “spirited drives”.
