2011 MCS center console/speedo/switch unit work for 2010 MCS?

Hey guys, working on a funky idea.. I really like the center console/dash of the 2011 being that its all black and looks higher quality. I am sick of the ugly cheap brushed silver junk in my 2010MCS at the moment. Anyone know if I can just unscrew the whole unit and unplug everything from a 2011 MCS and drop it into my '10?

Things I am worried about:
-fitment
-compatibility

I have talked to dealers parts/service departments and they are stumped. for $70 bucks I might as well try it.

*one thing I know is I need to make sure the unit I am dropping in is in fact the "Auto Blower" version of the AirCon. Other than that I feel like a 1st grader in a trigonometry class...

Thanks in advance!

the fitment will be seamless. if you are only changing the radio portion of the speedometer, i think you should be fine. but if you replace the whole assembly including the speedometer, the mileage dot (anti tampering dot) might appear. 70 bux is good.
