Anyone find Carbon Fiber Hood/Hatch/Door Skins?
The R56 has a pretty good selection of lightweight CF body parts available, but I can't find anything for the F56. Has anyone else managed to find anything worth adding in that department?

watching closely, we have a F56 to develop parts wanting input from fellow F56 owners.

Well, from my end, an OEM look CF hood would be a great start. The doors and door skins, and hatches, are probably much less likely to bring interest for non-motorsport drivers.

I stumbled on this guy this evening:
http://extremedimensions.com/2014-20...d-1-Piece.html Not familiar with the brand, and it's got a distinct "aftermarket" (read hideous) look to it that I'm definitely not into. It is a CF hood though, which seems to be for F56 cars. --Matt |
Boy, another swing and a miss tonight. Here's another equally unattractive one:
http://www.visracing.com/newcatalog/...iber-Hood.html Seems to be a different brand, but it looks identical to me. They also seem to have non-OEM looking fenders. http://www.visracing.com/newcatalog/...e-Fenders.html Given how tiny and "barely there" the fenders are, they don't really seem worth it. --Matt |
I would be interested in Carbon Fiber wheel arches and a hood with real heat extractors.

On a side note.... coming from the Subaru world, stay away from anything on VisRacings site.

Standard width or bigger??? Thanks. |
Would be keen for any kind of stock replacement (or close to stock) hood in CF and a rear diffuser in CF.
