Hi All, not sure if someone covered this yet, I have a 2007 base R56 and just got a donor car with heated seats and controls in it, I wanted to switch over to my car and was wondering if anyone has done this before, and what is involved coding, parts, ect.

It was easy on the Gen 1 MINIs as there was a kit, on the Gen 2 MINI the system is more involved as there is a main harness to the seat, the toggle bank with the switches and the harness for that. I dont know anyone how has done the full factory thing. Other than this :

I havent tried it, but the obvious would be the seats, window/heated seats combo switch, and fuse box. I think the fuses/circuit will be missing from the original fuse box. if the donor is a turbo, then the fuse box wont work same if it was for N16 engine.
