Boost/Coolant gauges for mickey mouse config.
Would like to add a boost and coolant gauges to my R53. I have the nav system, so I have a speedo and tach are behind the steering wheel.
The options I've seen on Mini Mania show the gauges partially blocking the air vents. Would like to hear from anyone with this type of configuration on how much blockage occurs and whether the gauges can pivot up to provide more air flow.
I realize it is not ideal placement, but I have heard there was a cluster that could be placed below the toggle switches (and above the cup holders), but I haven't found any info on this.
I don't want to go with an OBDII solution like Scangauge because I have an ODBII device to record AX and track day data. If I decide not to go with analog gauges, I may just use the OBDII with my iPhone and DashCommand or equivalent.
