Hey guys

I just got this silicon key fob from "go badges" it's made of soft silicon and feels so good when you hold your key and it's a great protection.

So you have to flip it off whenever you want to start the car unless you have comfort? Sounds lame.

Actually, even if you have to flip it off to start the car, it looks like a good idea and a lot of protection for the key fob. Can you push the buttons to lock and unlock without flipping the key fob out?

I have this leather one from outmotoring. http://www.outmotoring.com/leather-key-holder.html

You have to pull the key out to use it, and that is a bit of a hassle. It also adds a lot of bulk to the key, but I guess the protection is nice.

Yes the buttons all work through the cover. The cover even has the little icons for each of the buttons. and yes, Joanie, it does come in RWB Union Jack.

I got one too and I agree that it's kind of a pain to slip the key out but I like the protection, it's streamlined, and it looks cool so I'll put in that teeny bit of extra effort.

First, I have never got the impression the mini key was fragile.

Second, the silicon skins make it difficult to easily slide the key in and out of your pocket.

Last, it looks awkward IMHO.

I like this idea a lot. I drop my key all the time and hate all of the little dings the chrome ring gets in it. I also like the blackjack design. I think I'm actually getting one for christmas from my mom.

Thanks for posting some pics!

One thing to point out...
Silicon if hard...used as a semi-conductor ....and make computer chips....
Silicone is soft and rubbery...used in many things, from phonecases to breast implants (the solid non liquid filled)
