I want to install/put 3M carbon fiber Di-Noc in my headlights rings

Hi guys,

Does somebody already do this ?? I want to do it, here is an example video:

Thanks for the link to the video.

The headlight rings are easy to remove, so I would take them off to cover them.

I think will be easier to install the 3M product with the rings installed in the headlights, like the video

Or not ??

I have never used used that brand, so it may very well be as easy as the video looks. I do know from using other types on my Mini that cleaning is the key to it sticking and staying stuck. I do not see how you can clean well along the edges where you want it to tuck under. Just saying.

I did mine while still on the car.. The Di-Noc vinyl is very easy to work with but not cheap... Compared to other vinyl... Search Ebay for a small piece, hand cut it, lay it on, tuck it in and trim off excess...

Do it with the rings installed, you will be pulling the vinyl in all directions to get it to lay, make sure you have a good heat gun and take your time. I used Oracal matte black for mine, great product, stretches to about 200%.
