Convertible top won't open

The passenger side latch won't release. Dealership wants $3500 to repair on 2005.Only need little part. Help

Sadly that little part keeps getting more expensive.
It's still much cheaper to DIY, but it is time consuming.
Follow the link below & read through the thread (especially page 2)
That will let you know what your getting into.
