Best $18 I've spent on the car
 

After 4 years of ownership, I finally got around to doing some me-ifications done on the Mini.

Stripes, europlate, back plate chrome surround and this little sucker for the interior...

Took a little while to muscle it into postion, but great to finally have a something in that spot, rather than a nothing where the spouse would constantly toss his phone, only to have it land on my feet. And based on what Mini buts tend to cost, a total bargain. I'd guess this will eventually go the way of the glovebox divider, which is to say, no longer manufactured, so here's a ringing endorsement to grab one while they're still around. Rubberized bottom too. Pretty fancy, really.

Waiting for the grille badges and then to plan something a little more complicated...

My favorite $18: LightInSight. I don't know how every I lived without it.

I keep meaning to get one of those... I'm pretty short, so I don't have to dip my head too much, but perhaps since I'm finally in "do something" mode I should get that one onto the done list too.
