Cheap aftermarket shift **** install

I decided to try my hands at changing out the shifter **** but didn't want to spend a lot of money, especially if I screwed it up. I have small hands and have never liked the stock shift ****. And the one I bought has indentations for your hand so it feels great in the grip.

Checked out EVERY thread there was on how to remove the shift **** and found this one to be the most useful http://coopermods.com/archives/3 (thanks a ton to the author). And after removing the boot/****, the **** came off pretty easily just by holding the bottom part in my left hand and pulling the **** off with my right hand.

I bought the **** for $15 but only could use 2 of the 3 set screws (otherwise the chrome ring that hides the set screws wouldn't work). http://store.newlevelmotorsports.com/chshknmatr.html
