I did this to my car...

I did this to my car, I think it is the best grill setup of course

Here's pics of my car and some others that did the same, it's a bit cumbersome in getting the grill to line up.

man all these pics make me want to buy the rest of the aero kit (and rims), it just costs too much to get one painted these days.

I'm partial to M7, upper, middle, lower and Ram Air scoop.

The fog light black would definitely look good on your car. Get them from Voltage products, they fit perfect and are cheap enough at $15. Here is a pic of mine from post #30

Thanks. Are you talking about blacking out the chrome rings?

Thanks, I think I might just get those fog light blacks, for $15 can't go wrong. Think i'm also going to do the "Home Depot" mod this weekend

While you were the first to do this on NAM and M|U that doesn't necessarily mean you were the first to do it, period. Let alone the fact that someone could've never seen your car and done it at a later time than you. People do have similar tastes, ya know. And in the off-chance that they did copy you, imitation is the greatest form of flattery isn't it? Don't understand why you post things like that...

Carry on.....

05-06 grill on the aerokit bumper is still my favorite option, although I think it'd look even better with the surrounds body color and the slats black.

You callin me fattery? You speak the truth. I was bitchin, thats all.

I've always wanted to see the shaved bumper and its variations on other colors and bumper styles. Bring it on i say!

At this point I'm not seeking any headpatting, kudos, or respect. Now its time to sit back and enjoy all the fine examples of this wonderful pile of manicured bent metal lumps we call MINIs. So many people get a shot at creative design with this car. It really is a grand canvas.

AMVIV was a beautiful thing this year! My inspiration is renewed and I cant wait to share it!

Aero grill

Another aero grill convert. I swapped mine out after a nice Lincoln LS decided to crash into my front end

Flattery not fattery. Nah I meant to say that obviously you're on to something with the shaved grill so the imitation should be flattering.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next.

I designed those vented fenders you speak of and they are manufactured and sold through M7. They are made to order and take quite a lot of patience to install. PM me if you want a set!

Couldn't photoshop this as well as I'd hoped, but it serves its purpose to show the general idea. Shaved turn signals and molded grill surrounds. Anyone out there running THIS setup? I think it'd look good.

They are PIAA 1500 driving lamps . You do not notice the girll pattern at all.

Did mine with a Gutter Guard from Home Depot, cost me 4 bucks and like 2-3 hours! Turned out pretty good!
