Wow! Are these MINI headlights?

These look EXACTLY like 05-06 xenons...

Are they?!

Calaway16 12-09-2008 02:00 PM

Looks like it! It also looks like they flopped them from one side to the other. Right = left, left = right to get the cross eyed look.

#20Works4me 12-09-2008 02:07 PM

Sure looks like it, wonder if the lower lights are too?

I've seen Mini headlights used in a few old custom cars I've seen at car shows... Looks really good on the ones I've seen so far!

six-fingers 12-09-2008 02:36 PM

perhaps,

Isn't that Morgan made out of wood?

I could very well be wrong just thought i heard that someone.

iwashmycar 12-09-2008 02:39 PM

yeah i was wondering what one of the pics was.... wood makes sense

PlayPlay 12-09-2008 02:48 PM

Very interesting...doesn't look too awful....can anybody tell who makes the wheels? From some angles they almost look like Volks...

Who owns Morgan now anyway?

MiniS AZ 12-09-2008 03:00 PM

i think they are put in backwards. The headlight washer cover is on the outside... rather than the inside

Malcon 12-09-2008 03:18 PM

haha looks awesome!

six-fingers 12-09-2008 03:31 PM

Morgan is its own company no one owns it. The Morgan Aeromax is the coupe version of the Morgan Aero 8, it's body work is made out of wood, does 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and has 367HP.

and the head lights are indeed stolen from MINI

MUShadd 12-09-2008 08:10 PM

seen this a while back, yes they are mini eyeballs

I think it looks GREAT! I went to Barrett Jackson in PHX in Feb, and a bunch of hotrods had hijacked MINI Headlights! COOL COOL COOL If I can afford it we plan to go again this comming Feb. Pretty cool of my wife and two girls to want to go with me. If I may say so myself! Because I am far from able to buy!! I love to look at all those awesome cars!

Jahmills 12-10-2008 06:09 AM

Here is a new Morgan clone, the Mitsuoka, which also has MINI headlights.

Great observation; i've always loved the Morgan, but never noticed before.

I wonder if this particular car isnt merely a cyber photo.....some parts appear to be photoshopped in.

The turn indicators look almost like they came from the Land Rover Defender parts bin.

If so, then why can I see right through the car ???

Look at the hood and backgound behind it.......

Maybe it belongs to James Bond....

That pic is PS'd but its a real car. A lot of the BMW guys do this effect to showcase the engine bay. I like the BBS CH wheels...

MiniFaron 12-11-2008 08:37 PM
