Can you get Pink bulbs for your gauges?

im sure you can. there was someone who could switch out the dash lights and such.... just i dont think he does it anymore =[

 

I hear about a lot of people doing it... but someone in another forum im on just told me its hard to find them and very very hard to do

 

I seem to spend a lot of time in a local community theatre, doing lights, sound, things like that. I've used snips of the gel colors we use for lights for flashlights (lots of theatre folk do that -- put color over a maglite), and the Apple logo on my laptop.

That's what I'd consider for the dash -- using gels to color (google for Rosco color).

 

If anybody can get their hands on any then please do your duty as a member of the human race and incinerate on sight ;-).

 

Last we looked... they were REALLY expensive and hard to get in the correct size

Well, If you can find the right size surface mount LEDs and are good at soldering tiny things..... AND, if you are willing to risk several hundreds of dollars worth of gauges for your MINI..... you could attempt it yourself. I have seen many tutorials on a DIY for your gauges. I just don't think that I am a good enough solderer to attempt it....

 

use gel, might be the easy way
