Well, I was trying to get some stripes a bit different, then others.
going around yhe local places, had one place just blow me off like they could'nt
be bothered. well found a sign maker, graphics guy and added stripes today.

So I need all you MINI people ( mini people? are we munchkins? ) to tell me what you think of this stripe job.

If I get lots of "NAYS" , I guess I'll go eat worms
Tell the truth please, if any body knows where a good graphic place in north Florida?
eg: Jacksonville? please let me know.

So here's some pics of the stripes

Here's another

It looks OK but then they are not straight, to make them look straight.
Should they or should they go?
Thanx,
Glenn

Looks nice Du'. leave it be. (i don't think you'll be able to get them straight as the bonnet is curved.)

Hello Glenn!

I like them! Very cool and less common than many other stripes! I particularly like how the narrow one goes through the intercooler intake!

Do you have any more pics from different perspectives? Do they continue on roof or boot?
I like them, and not being straight is not an issue. I think on the side of the bonnet you could never get them straight anyway.

Cool stripes and thanks for posting!
Markus

I think they look great on your car. The color combo is very sharp. I am looking for something a little different myself and have not settled on what that is yet. Nice stripes.

Very Nice Stripes! I've seen the double ones before and what you've done with the look is very good! Being creative with an idea and making it your own is where it is at! I like how the front dips into the air scoop.

and never say offend... because To "copy" someone's idea is the greatest compliment! It says "I think what you have looks good, such that I want my own version of it on my car" ...

I love the look of the stripes on the BRG car!
and the stripes on the boot are great!

I know you are turning heads!

yea, I never took offense to the stripes. I am very glad to see more MINIs out there with more than just the dealer style stripes. It looks great!

Good choice on the stripes. So far, no stripes on my MCS, DKS/DKS. Starting to think about it though. Notice your visor warning decals are still on. Removed mine and it look sweet.

It would look good...that is if you put another one on the other side. I've seen lots of Neons and the like with only one strip on one side of the hood. Not a good look for a MINI, IMO. But I do like the semi-transparent strip on the BRG.

I think BRG is the classiest color on the mini..if I was going to buy another, I'd get it and the new cordoba beige interior... very very posh and sexy.

Great stripe!! Love it!

I'm suprized, I had gotten negative feed back from fellow workers and even my better half!
I guess I'll keep them a while!

Dooooh!! the stickers on my visors, I had not notice them untill this was mentioned.
This makes me think, I better check the cooper too! only had it since April '02.

Yes, they can be taken off, they are not magnetic, you have destroyed the stripes,
they are vinyl.

Akkkk, Must hide in shame
the '02 coop has the placards in place too!

I think they look great! I always like it when someone does something new and a little different.

My only minor comment is that I think the off-set striping should be an inch or 2 closer to the center of the bonnet, but that is just my opinion and I still think it looks great!
