Wheel color choices....

Hey guys I've got a Dark Silver MINI with white top and stripes (the one in my sig)

I've got a extra set of s-lites that really need to be fixed (curb rash) and painted...my question is this:

What color do you think would look better; Semi Flat Black, Dark Grey or White to match the roof? And why?

Here are some photos that I photo shopped to show you (kind of) what it would look like:

Black Wheels (Aggressive? Clash with white?)

Dark Silver (Poor match? Bright silver better?)

Stock White Wheels (Too common / Feminine?? No offense ladys!)

I know my photo-shop skillz are not top notch but I'm just fishing for opinions....You Decide!

Thanks!

Yeah, I'm not usually a fan of white wheels but they would definitely work in this situation.

White wheels all the way. Looks sharp with the other white accents.

white. or either a very bright silver. there not enough dark color on the car to pull off black, but it could just be me… but it doesnt look that way.

Check out tirerack. Even if you dont wanna buy from them their website is a great tool in choosing wheels, and wheel color

pshhh..forget your MINI PGT...
hehe

but maybe gettin dark silver to match the mini wouldnt look too bad either..
how about dark silver spokes with a white lip? a lot of work to do tho..
most likely you should either stick with white or see if there's any other dark silver mini's out there with the same color rims..i think i've seen some..they do in fact look pretty sharp.

White -- when clean.

Not having white wheels, however, I don't know how much work it is to keep them clean. I'm considering changing my silver wheels for anthracite for that very reason.

Yeah 07BPB, chrome would not look good on my ride like it does on yours!

I'm thinking you guys are right the white plays up the roof and mirror colors. Might be a PITA to keep clean though. I was just worried that white might spark up the "Awwww.....it's sooo cute though!" comments from fellow motorists!

I say go with white!!! It is the best looking of the three!

They will not be a pain to keep clean if you.

A. Use wheel wax from day 1.
B. Get some new brake pads. Carbotech makes some great pads that keep your wheels WAY cleaner than the stock ones. I will PM you the link.

+1 on all of this. Either wax your wheels (Wheel Armor rocks) or get a fantastic wheel cleaner (I have Meguiar's Wheel Brightener and cleaning the wheels is a snap with it, takes 5 minutes tops). Just stay on top of it and it's no big deal.

Low dust pads will also definitely help!

I say go with black and replace the stripes and make the roof black.

I just picked up the White paint today and will begin prepping/fixing the curb rash tonight, thanks for the input guys! (except for you that7guy )

The only reason I said that was because pretty much every Dark Silver MINI I see has a black roof with or without the black strips. Seems to be more common. Besides I like the classic look of the white roof anyway.
