Interior/Exterior Mud Flap question

Rear ones (oem) fit but fronts don’t.
this is for the early R55 models (mine is a 2009).
Not sure if the later LCI models have a
different shaped rear bumper behind the wheel well or not.
Someone was able to reshape the curve for the oem front ones
to fit kinda sorta with a wooden form and a heat gun,
but that sounds like too much trouble to bother with.
There are some aftermarket universal flat
screw-on front ones that look too ugly and stuck-on to use.
