What if you were to use a clear vinyl with a matte or satin finish? That might be easier to find.

Just did these stripes to my wife's car today...
Oh and I blacked out the grille, headlights and taillight trims etc
Also wrapped the car in matte metallic purple =O)
All in 2 days.

that's a great idea- something I was thinking about too. Maybe I can find a small test sheet to play with.

I was going to have my stripes continue over the sunroof, but it didn't look right. See the link in my sig to pics of how it looks without it. I think it looks fine not doing the sunroof.

This stripe is painted and I won't be changing my mind!

Finally (after a few botched attempts of my own...) my stripe found it's way down my boot! Nice to be complete.
Many thanks to fellow NAMer, BMC_Kid for donating his PW boot handle to the cause.
And also to InvaderZim who also went all the way down the valence with a very similar stripe and helped me decide to do the same.

Thanks - I appreciate that.
It's funny, I didn't tell the body shop to delete the Cooper badge - but I like the clean look.

Here's my BRG Mini with very subtle BRG racing stripes. I hope it's not too flashy!
