Alright so I debadged the CooperS and blacked out the MINI wings. I also painted the rear control arms.

This is a huge help. just pry the wings off


The wings will leave holes. 2 in the back and 3 in the front like this

I like the look.
Now I have another item on the list of things to do. How will I ever get caught up.

 

to take them off I used the sticker lifter in the first pic. It comes with some goo be gone that you can squirt on. then just pried it off with the given device. to put them back on I used some all purpose 3M adhesive

 

Looks great, now drop that 4X4!

 

Thats the nezt step. Just not sure if i want to go with springs or coilovers. but I assure you i am dropping it!

RUC, If you wanted to do some good masking work I think it would be really cool if you did the circle in white and then alternated the high and low parts of the wings in red and white. I dont know if that makes sense without looking. anyway post pics if and when you do!

Ive been trying to figgure out how to do this for a while.

I sanded them but no primer. I suggest Duplicolor's spray paint for plastics.

 

where did you get your googon kit, pep boys did not have it.

 

that might be cool but a little hard to do. i'll see how easy it is to mask. will def post pics if/when it's done

 

yea, it would be a little more difficult but rewarding.
