So I'd like to borrow a white or light blue MINI for a wedding...

This is an ultra-super-duper long shot, but since my fiancee and I have time until our wedding date (03/14/14), we'd like to attempt to get our hands on a shiny white or light blue MINI to depart the venue in. The venue is Ashton Gardens, located near 1960 and I-45.

I'm a fully insured 29-year-old architect that can drive a standard and has spent time behind the wheel of a manual Clubman S. She's a 28-year old doctor that has been driving an '06 Cooper CVT since new, and it's been a loyal, hardworking friend for us that's taken us on a lot of adventures.

However, it's showing its age; it creaks and groans, it got into a scrape with a bus, it's dark blue with its share of door dings, it has a BCM problem so one taillight doesn't work, etc. It's not very high-class these days, (and neither are we, but the wedding day is the exception).

So we'd entertain priced offers from Houston white MINI owners to rent their car (a Cooper, or Clubman, any performance level or transmission, just white) for 1-2 days, from Friday, March 14, 2014 to March 15, 2014. It would be returned with a full tank of gas. The car would only have windows soaped with messages at the owners' permission. Collateral and traded transportation would be a 2008 Honda Civic, or if you'd prefer an automatic, the aforementioned 2006 MINI Cooper. We'd agree to sign necessary paperwork.

So, yeah. Long shot.

TL;DR, wanna trade cars?

Professor - you might try posting on the HMMS facebook page if you haven't already (I didn't see it). They are much more active on there than this forum.

I'd oblige your request but my MINI is silver and older than yours!

I'd let you use mine but is isn't doing much better. I'm going to start fixing it here pretty soon. I'd say don't count on mine but if I get it back to where it I want it, you're welcome to it. Oh and it's an Electric Blue '03 S.
