Hey, I just saw a CR/W MC in downtown a few minutes ago.....he kindly stopped for me before turning into the University of Phoenix parking lot (unlike the Honda that tried to run over my toes!!!).

Hey, I sneak up on plenty of unsuspecting MCs all over town. Too many now to mention and also more parked in various places downtown or at Queens Med center. Lots of VR/W or VR/VR come to mind. People pretty friendly- I wave and they wave back usually.

There must be some 600 MINIs now sold since the first cars were released so now it is pretty common to see them. Each one is individual though. Funny how the indi blue ones are sorta hiding. I wonder why they don't come out to play??? More often.

 

Yesterday I spotted two brand new MCS pulling out of the dealership.
One was a BRG/W MCS with white S-lites and sunroof destined to add a JCW kit in the near future driven by Kbseto.
Nice MINI. Bring on the kit!!!
And the other was a Black/W MCS with white S-lites and sunroof. He looked happy and waved to me. I heard he just traded in his 2002 Blue Jeep Liberty Sport which was getting a hefty 15 mpg. Not exactly the perfect commuting car.
Hopefully his MCS will serve him well. No wonder he looked happy.

Oct. 14, a little after 5 pm, I was going home towards Hawaii Kai on Kalan. Hwy. As usual daydreaming my next mod. All of a sudden a spotted a chili red MCS/blktop right behind me. He passed me and I gave my ususal shaka. Then I notice about 5 cars in front another chili red MCS (whte top). To make the long story short, with a few moves, we all filed up in the middle lane: 3MCS cruising (2 red follow by 1 Grey). Just for a moment, I felt sort of the Hawaiian version of the IJ. To bad that lasted for a couple of minutes and we had to go our separate ways

I was having lunch today at 99 Ranch Market in Mapunapuna and I finally saw the Pink MINI. It was parked in front. I never saw the owner because after I came out it was gone. MINIs are like fingerprints, no two are the same. This one is really original.

 

You saw it at lunch? The car belongs to a 15 y.o. girl, so maybe she was playing hooky! It's kind of hard to be inconspicuous in a MINI, albeit a PINK MINI!

hey...did you honk or anything? scored some clean small waves in the am at diamond head and perfect conditions this pm down at niu valley. in fact, i just came in with my soaking boardshorts.

yep, my p/u is also green, emerald black to be exact.

 

I honked and stuck my hand out the sunroof. However, I only got the sunroof after I was heading downhill and slightly to the right.

Aloha folks- been unable to log for for many days now- finally downloaded spybot and other program and deleted something and i can log on again-hell i don't know what i did but i'm on again

beastmaster- wow nice pics- skipping thru posts not really reading as i don't pay much attention to spotting of mini's anymore but then hey wait that's looks just like me- wow what a nice car- it is me !!. Don't know where you guys save all these items but that was fun.

i missed ghui comments- but as i left work just a wee bit early last week i see this good looking saab tooling along as we trade places a few times- we hit red light and he asks if rims are team dynamics- As most know i'm not thrilled by looks of my centerlines- but slowly they're growing on me. thought why is this guy in Saab asking about my rims- he had some decent rims on the saab also-
