Good News for Big Island MINI owners (maybe)

I've heard rumblings about this for about a week, but was not able to confirm until this afternoon. It seems BMW is planning on opening a service facility on the Big Island, most likely the Kona side. I'm hoping that it will also include servicing the MINI. Timetable is @ 12 - 18 months.

wow, kona town is really stepping up in the big time. i believe 10 years ago, they were just starting to get costco, wal-mart, home depot, etc. now they got'em all and the houses are just popping up all over on both sides of the highway alll the way down to kealakekua and beyond.

hmmm, kona side is seeming like a better and better place to check out. although the trafffic from the airport into kona town on friday afternoons is getting to be comparable to honolulu.
