Aloha, I've been calling for quotes and so far I get this $1,750 parts+labor.. Discussing this with the wife and said selling the car as is.. (Too much stress) But for me, personally I really hate to let her go due to the fact I'm not going to get a cool car with the price she's gonna get:( hard decision as to a tight budget right now. Really my left&right brain aren't cooperating lol. Anyone can give me some panda express fortune cookie? Need to decide argh! Thanks

 

IF you can hang on to it AND get the required parts then I'll help you do the job in January. I just cannot help until after I'm done with my wife's head gasket and my clutch...sorry. Bear in mind also that without a lift and pneumatic tools it will be very time consuming. So I wouldn't expect a two day turnaround time.

Guys! Guys! Guys! Guess what!? My mini is back on the twisties! Yay! Lol even better than before.. Smooth shifting.. Clutch is soooo soft I dont need to fight my pedal anymore! I took her in the shop though.. The price is pretty reasonable I guess. But over all I'm very well satisfied with their service and the Mini now. Though I was gonna consider BigGunz helping hand and for more fun diy's, but the mini needed to get fixed up right away (dd car). Anyway Thanks to you all for the ideas and advices when I was down. Esp BigGunz thanks man! Till here and have a safe motoring everybody.

 

Thanks for the shout out. I'm glad my limited experience helped you. Again, sorry I couldn't help sooner. I finished up the head on the wife's MINI today. My clutch is next...NOT looking forward to doing it but it must be done.
