was at checkers tonight when the assistant mgr saw us in baronious' MINI and asked us if we go to the saturday (friday?) night meet at kapolei zippy's. he mentioned that there are at least a dozen MINIs that he sees there, many which are super tricked out. anyone know anything about this???

Someone else told me about a car meet that happens each month on Saturday night about 6pm in Kapolei either at the Zippy's or Kmart parking lot with lots of cars of all types. The smart ones come early and part in places where they can leave easily. I never heard that there are that many MINIs though. The owners park the cars and others mill around and come for a look. Like an informal car show. Maybe one of the local car newspapers has the particulars printed. No cost.

Yes all makes and models- you name it and lots of old classics.
We could try to make an effort to show up in a group.
Mostly for fun. Come early for the best spots. Sometimes fun to see other cars old and new.
I don't think others have seen the MINIs up close.
It's free and I already do wash and polish like a miniac.
MINIs deserve to be clean!
