For those that went on the Mini Golf Cruise - remember that big guy in the little car? For those here - have you seen posts from Latka? Well, Latka (the guy in the Classic Mini) is Andy K. (same name as the Latka character on the 80s show Taxi, and almost as funny) and he's known in the Super Lap Series and Drift Session community as a kick-azz photographer. He's too modest to post himself so I wanted to announce that our own HMMC member recently got national exposure in a magazine called Drifting (August 2006 issue). His photos appear on page 24, bottom of page 25, 26, and 2nd to the bottom of page 28.

Congrats Andy! You deserve to be recognized for your great work 'bro!

As you may all know FeedBack has shipped his MINI (WINO) to the mainland to be with him on his temporary assignment on the East coast. Peter planned to drive cross country and along the way he joined the MTTS on two of its legs.

I was on my way home from work today. And well had to cross 2 lanes in my work truck to get a closer look at WINO. I think Pete thought I was insane but it is not everyday I get to see a MINI in my home town let alone one with Hawaii plates and purple wheels.
Pete was on his way to Omaha tonight.

Wow, thanks for the update on Peter's whereabouts! I bet he was like when he saw a truck chasing him down!

 

I caught him as he was leaving a parkinglot. I dont think a Chevy Colorado could catch that MINI
