All we have to do to get you to show up is tell you it's a timed event.

Alright then, I'm so there now! Hahaha. I was joking that we should've had a timer set-up in front of the capitol for the rally (would've been fun! ).

laps around the capitol

--Oooh I'll bet we coulda brought it down to less than 30 seconds a lap even with traffic that day. Hmm now where is that DSC switch again?

Okay so April 22nd is the day that will work for everyone?

Louis you still up for aux gauge install?

Any other requests people of HMMC?

DSC off Keith, DSC off Keith....

OK, Apr. 22nd, my place for Keith's "unofficial" DIY. Not sure I can make it an all day thing so not too many cars please. Earlier the better for me.

Louis already installed his OEM steering wheel gauge pod by himself. If anyone has one he can give tips on the install.

The 2006 HMMC DIY Squad :
-Louis is the HMMC "electro" DIY guy!
-Keith is the HMMC "impossible to tighten bolt is no problem because I worked on jet engines" DIY guy.
-Barry is the HMMC "anything without spilling liquids" DIY guy.
-Dirk is the HMMC "pretend to know what I am doing" DIY guy.

beaten down by da bug

--So sorry Dirk and everyone else who planned on attending I caught a virus this week and I haven't been able to shake it. In the interest of not getting everyone sick I'm going to bug out of this Saturday's diy. Sorry everyone.

I've got a nasty bronchitis cough that makes cannon blasts seem serene, and a light fever that won't go away. Don't want anyone else to get this so I'm quarantining myself.

hey d, when i get my MCS back, could you help me with the temp thingy? i was think about doing it myself, but i was worried that i might have a box full of car parts that i might not know where they belong to... wish M7 had pdf instructions...like OEM guides.

Hey, speaking of Ipod's and sound upgrades, I got this cool Marantz 8-track that was supposed to go in my '75 Olds. Think you can patch it into my HK ?

Aloha!

M7 Strut Tower Brace

--Like a kid on Christmas morning I got my M7 Strut Tower Brace last night and couldn't wait to install it. So in true ghetto spirit I installed it at my nearby Checker's parking lot. It was kind of a good thing too becuz I needed to buy at least one more tool to complete the install. For anyone thinking of getting the M7 Strut Tower Brace here's what you'll need:

Torque Wrench - capable of 25 foot pounds torque
13 mm socket to fit socket wrench AND Torque Wrench
6mm allen wrench
8mm allen wrench
short extension for socket or taller socket (to clear fender top)

I'll try to post some pics tonight.
