Clo, aren't you leaving the 7th of April for Cali? Is it going to take 16 days to get to Louisiana?????
If you want to do the 23/24 you can crash at our new place (if we indeed complete the contract) in Lafayette on the 22nd and we can make the hour trek to Baton Rouge the next day.
Chris, wish I could make it to BR this weekend to meet you guys but I am picking up the MINI in BR Friday and already have plans set for Saturday. Hope you guys make it back for the April get together.
Clo, lets try and finalize the dates and start getting a roll call going.

Bummer! I can't believe I've been missing all this! I live in B.R. (close enough at least). And I MISSED a visit from MINIclo?! (You're almost a celebrity on these boards you know). BUMMER, BUMMER, BUMMER.
We've had/have a "club" that Lance over at Brian Harris set up called gulfsouthmotoring.org, but to be honest, it's usually a ghost town. I'm not sure why... IT'S GREAT IF WE NOW HAVE A MORE VIABLE LIVELY FORUM. I certainly don't think your stepping on any toes over here.
Yeah Brian Harris is the only MINI game for hundreds of miles here. I've been pleased with them (but certainly not awed). Lance is the MA over there that I've dealt with. He's alright. We actually had a track day last year at NPR (No Problem Raceway) that he set up. DAMN it was hot though! Our MINI's were SMOKIN in more ways than one!.
Man, a get together around here would bring MINI's out like roaches at waffle house!. There is really a lot of things to do and see. A few weeks ago my family and some friends went up to the Tunica Hills to go hiking. Some of the roads up that way a great for MINIS.
Anyway, forgive my rambling, it's just great to hear from people I might actually get to SEE and talk to in PERSON! WOW!

J-Didi & PassatDoTd:
I'd love to get together with y'all! I was very impressed with Brian Harris MINI. Compared to the majority of the dealerships in SoCal, they were positively dreamy!
I'm not sure what my schedule is, yet, other than the Dragon and attending YuccaPatrol's wedding on May 15th. Otherwise, kinda making it up as I go along, but I will be heading your way later in May. I'll definitely check here on NAM and let y'all know so hopefully, we can at least have lunch together.
Cheers!

The posts above yours are almost 7 years old. There is a Louisiana/Mississippi club http://gulfsouthmotoring.net/, though the facebook page sometimes has more activity than our forum.

Louisiana mini club
Check out www.gulfsouthmotoring.net . There a quite a few mini owners from La. and Miss on there. We do go cruising regularly (last Saturday) and have get togethers. We too have been talking about doing a Gulfport/Biloxi Cruise. " Minis On The Coast" .
You should contact the group with your ideas and maybe we can all make this happen. I go to Cruisin The Coast every year as well as Scrapin The Coast.
We have done some Swamp tours including crawfish boil and party barge rides in the bayous as well as River Road Bonfire tour. We do have a lot of fun and sometimes go out to eat or a movie afterwards. you should join in.

GSM is doing another beach run on Saturday Sept. 26th. We meet in Waveland MS on Hwy 90 in the shopping center parking lot before the McDonalds for 10AM. From there we cruise down towards Biloxi and stop along the beach to hang out. Anyone who is interested in joining us is welcome. Meet some fun Mini owners.
