Dead Forum?

Looks like no active posts since 2014... Anyone alive here? Has everyone migrated elsewhere?

I'm in Panama city beach. Loads of mini's here. To bad we cannot get them all together.

@aunknown, I'm pretty sure @SuperMattyP was referring to the Gulf Coast subforum of the Club and Regional Forums. It looks to me that hitting the New Posts link is only for new posts that are part of the overall forum and not this subforum.

From my limited experience as someone who has only recently found the North American Motoring forum and not yet a frequently posting member, this seems to be a fantastic overall forum...a great informational resource. At the same time, the Club and Regional Forums area for the southern USA seems to be relatively sparsely populated with new posts.

I'm directly south of the Houston, Texas, area and I wondered the same thing as @SuperMattyP while scouting for info about local groups of Mini owners. The nearest that I can tell, the most talk/activity for my specific area seems to take place on Facebook (for instance, with Facebook page for the Houston Mini Motoring Society).

I had hoped to see more Houston and/or Texas regional activity here, but that's the way it goes sometimes. That's not a complaint, just an observation.

almost all local groups have dropped 'forum' based websites (where they had to pay for site hosting)

and switched to FaceBook Groups

for example my local group previously at SunshineMinis.org

is now a FB Group: Sunshine Minis

so try search FB for a group by the same name as the old group/website

Understood! I've already joined a few Facebook-based groups dedicated to Minis...one that is directly in my area (the Houston Mini Motoring Society). Thanks @Capt_bj !
