From what I was able to find out before I bought it, it was originally sold by a dealership in Texas. The buyer traded it in at a Porsche dealer in Richmond VA, where I picked it up (with 3500 miles on it!).

I'm happy to jump into this thread to report that I'm the new owner of a GP2, production number 0403 with a US sticker #0116.

I've owned the car just over a week and logged nearly 4K miles. Loving it!

Just joined the owner group. Extremely fun car to drive. Came with OZ Superturismo LM wheels (7,5x17) and the originals which were taken off when originally put in service. Trying to decide whether to keep as part of the package whenever I sell it or to sell them. Any ideas on what a set of take-offs in as new condition would sell for. Any thoughts on sell or keep? thanks - HJBondar

the roof panel is blank where the number would be. The door sill, dash badge and original window sticker all indicate 1 of 2000. Am I mistaken?
yes it is a track beast. I was tracking a 2003 mini S with extensive modifications, but this wipes the floor with that.

For the 2013 GP, they all say "1 of 2000" on the dash and door sills. In the North American markets only, a sequence number was assigned on the roof. If you can provide the last 7 characters of your VIN, I can provide the assigned US number.

Yours must not have been applied at delivery. Some of these were installed @ the port, and others were handed to dealers to install, so there was some inconsistency.

On the 2006 GP, the dash # matched the roof and each was unique. This changed in 2013.

I have a copy of the 2013 US sequence list based on the VIN and have access to several of the original roof graphics which were never installed, trying to find the correct cars for them.

Since you have the original window sticker, it may show the original dealer. You may want to give them a call and check with the sales manager to see if they have the original roof number graphics which belong to the car. This is not one of the numbers I have.

Thanks for the information, I may get to that someday, too busy wearing out the tires in it. The stock 3 point harness is really inadequate for the track and you have to butcher the back deck to mount it. I had it on a wet track last week, what a blast! even with the Kumo V700's on it broke loose many times.

wow I'm so sorry . Maybe insurance might fix it lets hope it's fixable . If part out happens lmk also I'll be interested buying some parts as spare if doesn't go your way with insurance but make them try fix it fight if it's a gp2
