Any GP's in Vancouver?

I'm staying here in downtown Vancouver and was just curious if there were any GP owners here.

Not unless someone imported one.

Why? Were there no GP's sent to Canada?

Nope, MINI shafted our northern neighbors on the GPs

Why spend the $$$ to crash test a car if you are only going to send like 6 of them.

Competition Edition is the Canadian version of the GP

I believe the differences are that the Competition Edition has diffnt. bumper specs, back seats & is a hardtop. The C.E. weighs in at between 90 - 100 lbs heavier than the American G.P.
It is a limited edition with only 64 cars coming into Canada (14 blue, 25 black, 25 chili pepper if my memory serves me correctly).
Mine is # 50 / 64 & parked until the streets are clean & dry.
Not only bears hibernate!

Hi,

I was looking on the mini.ca website, however I was unable to find any information about the CE MINI, if it is possible could you send me a link to some pictures/info. I want to know what the CE MINI is all about  .

Thanks,
Bill

Here's some information about the Competition Edition: http://motoringfile.com/2006/09/05/c...fficial-debut/
Being an R53, it is no longer available as a new car except for any still unsold on dealer lots.
