Available GP's?

hey guys,

If this is inappropriate, feel free to delete. But I'm searching all over for any GP that is unclaimed (And not marked up to high heaven  ). If you hear of one, would you please PM me? Thanks!

Nick
Hopeful GP owner.

Jtrem Oct 25, 2006 09:10 PM

there is one on ebay thats going for 34k

bluzeke Oct 25, 2006 09:23 PM

. . . just how far up do you consider "high heaven" to be marked?

1% - 5% - 10% - 15% > ?

When it comes to GP's, right now you've got to pay to play.

Yes, there's this one: GP 0223. As the seller notes, he's selling it for the sticker price he paid.

This isn't mine, just another member of my club -- I followed it around a couple weeks ago on a drive, and it still looks to be in great shape.

I remember reading the Morristown Mini has two for $31,150 that was yesterday though

Just Checked and it looks like they still have two left (at least that's what the website says http://morristownmini.com/New-Invent...oryId=15324079)for the price above

GBMINI Oct 28, 2006 05:46 PM

Sponsor MINI Of The Hamptons lists a GP at $31,150 (and free shipping) but I have no idea if they have any stock.

Another vendor is offering $2,500 mark-up

Update.

I called about 25 dealers around the US. It was funny the range of comments. One mockingly said they were sold out "across the USA since February" while one said they sold their last slot last week. Boo.

Good news is, I got a call today from one dealership that would sell me one if it came open (sounded about 50/50). We'll see. Thanks everyone.

Nick

A couple of weeks ago (before I got mine at Midwestern) I inquired at Morristown Mini. They just emailed me with this

We have 1 GP here left. Car is selling for $35,250. I'm sure I dont have to get into details on the MINI. If you have any questions. Please feel free to let me know, okay.

As far as I know Motorwerks doesn't have the inflated price. $31,000 or so is list.

Jeremy1026 Nov 3, 2006 09:34 PM

there are 4 unclaimed in MD and VA. MINI of Towson, Tate MINI, and MINI of Steerling respectivly.

ondfly Nov 3, 2006 11:04 PM

Watch out...Morristown just backed out of sale!

I was first in line at Morristown with deposit and paperwork. ALL was a go with sales people and managers; even transportation, when the GM stepped in and KILLED the sale! Beware!!!! No longer a GP Owner!
