I picked her up today. I asked them not to put the rear bumper on - I'm going to have the hood redone in 2 weeks and I'll have them do the rear bumper cover too. Why do things half-assed at this point?

One good thing - the owner said there was only one other GP in town and told me who owns it. Said it was mechanically sound (A BMW/Mini shop owner had it) but really in much worse shape than mine. I told him this was that one - I replaced the headliner, window tints, a bunch of interior parts, spent hours polishing out the paint. Good to know I brought it back from where it was...

Anyway, $2500 later, new bumper cover, new radiator core support, new fan shroud, new splash guard, new clips around the side skirts, new A/C evaporator, a recharge, new spoiler, spoiler ends, amazing paint work and here she is. I didn't realize how poorly fitted the old parts actually were! And the silver brake ducts look great. Yes, those are bug guts on it already.

Lookin' good!

That GP is lucky to have found such a meticulous owner.

"...that you brought it back from where it was..."

Indeed!

Must be a wonderful feeling to see it restored to full glory.

Congrats on a job well done.
