How much Rear Negative Camber from GP LCA's
 

Inquiring minds want to know: How much adjustment can you get from the GP's rear Lower Control Arms? Sufficient to get 1.3-1.5 degrees negative?

The least amount of negative camber that I can get on the rear with the stock LCA adjustment is -1.5 to -1.6 degrees. I am using stock JCW springs, stock GP wheels, 15mm wheel spacers, and 215/40-18 tires.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to be using 17x7 ENKEI's w/42mm offset with 215/45x17 Nitto NT01's for track duty. Will be installing a 22mm rear bar, using the JCW springs and struts with Vorshlag neg. camber plates up front. If I can get 2.0 neg. or slightly more up front and 1.3-1.5 neg. in the rear, I'll be happy.

I agree with quikmni that the least amount of rear negative camber I could get from the stock adjusters with stock JCW shocks, springs, wheels was neg 1.5. Be sure that when you have your alignment done that they will allow you to sit in the car. Your weight in the drivers seat will change the rear camber. You may be hard pressed to get neg 2.0 in the front with the JCW struts and springs. Even with massaging the drip channel in the drivers side wheel well I was only able to get neg 1.8 with the bee hive springs.

Thanks for the info. Have been thru the drill with my '05 MCS. Just wanted to be sure that the stock AL rear LCA's on the GP would give enough adjustment. Will be sure to take my 2 lb. sledge hammer for the clearance "adjustment" up front.

I use H-Sport Camber Plates in the front and I am able to get -2.2 degrees in the front (probably can get a little more but have not tried). I did pound the hack out of the drip bump. I also had to pound up high where the top spring perch area was hitting the body.

Well, I easily got my 2.0 neg. up front but had trouble in the rear. RR was 2.5 neg. whereas the LR was 1.5 neg. Stock LCA adjuster couldn't compensate and, as indicated in my recent post, getting to the toe adjustment is virtually impossible in a GP so it's upper and lower adjustable CA's to the rescue. On lighter note, I'm sure happy with the neg. camber up front and the 22mm bar in the rear set on the middle adjustment. Car really rotates well. Hope to get it ready for VIR the end of this month.
