i hate the astro black now that i own it. it looks amazing when clean...WHEN clean. which is the day you wash it. ive had the car 2 1/2 weeks and washed it 4 times and its dirty as it sits now in my garage. the paint is also really soft. it scratches if you blow on it.

 

I truly love my Li'l Pepper, but there sure are a whole lot of 'em around. Haven't seen another one with the Octagon Red seats and Anthracite headliner, though. Sharp combination. Somebody at work just got an '07 PW/B. I like to think he saw mine in the lot and thought "That's the color I want!"

I'm glad they stopped selling that light metallic green before I ordered because I might have been tempted. I still think one of those could be 'meaned' up with some dark wheels and such, but I haven't seen one yet. I liked that burgundy color, too.

 

I really wanted a blue one (doesnt matter which shade) or a silver one--- but thats pretty much all that i see around here. so i wanted to be different and get something i hadnt seen...

But now that i have NFR, not a lot of options look very good on it......(flags, etc) so i'm having a really hard time accessorizing it.

i really wish they had a pearl white close to the Lexus shade- that would be awesome.

 

Could not be happier with our color choices. Not only each on it's own merits but together as a group... they colors compliment each other perfectly.

That's not to say I wouldn't like to add a few more... some of the old colors like Indi Blue or Hot Orange. The newer color, Mellow Yellow.

So many good ones.

 

I've had mine 7 months and 25k with regular treks from DC to Charlotte and haven't seen another MINI in my color yet.

 

I knew from the moment I saw her on the lot that I'd made the right color choice. Haven't had a a single regret.

 

I love my BRG and wouldn't have picked anything else, but I do really like the O2Blue. My mom has started talking about a MINI, which cracks me up, but she is leaning towards the Oxygen Blue... so I can live vicariously through her.

 

Really wanted Yellow.... Lightning Blue... and LOVE it... but i'd swap for yellow in a heartbeat...

I always, ALWAYS wanted a BRG with white stripes... but, when my chili red fell into my lap, I embraced it... I will rubberneck a little ruefully when a BRG drives by, I admit...

 

I love my BRG.

 

My first MINI was chili red/white and I realllllyyy wanted CR/B for my second one. But I found a pepper white/black with black bonnet stripes that fit what I wanted to a T (other than being red) and I really couldn't be happier! Red is sexier, but black and white is so classic.
