That's interesting you almost got the DS/S combo. I was set on DS/B with black stripes till I went to order the car. There was a test car sitiing there with DS/S and the silver stripes. I changed my mind on the spot. I love the agressive look of your combo, but I decided I like the subtle contrast of DS/S. I will post some creative shots eventually, but I put up a couple for now that my step-daughter took when we picked up the car. Meet Spiggy!

I'm finished. It took me two Minis and four years to complete the job. My '02 was DS/W. I prefer the DS/DS I have now......satisfied with the choices I've made......engine, exterior, interior. Now it's 'until death do us part'.

I think this antenna fits great with my DS/DS. I have always liked the length of the OEM antenna (15.75") but it seems to get lost in the dark silver color as well as other black exterior surfaces. This ECS Tuning antenna (10.75") loses a little in 'toy' effect, but it adds a welcome piece of styling that is noticed.

 

Count me in!! Hope to get her on the road with new KONI FSDs, OZ Ultraleggera in PZero shoes next week!!

I love the look of that! Is it painted on, or seriously transparent?

The nestest thing about owning a MINI is the large group of people from around the world who have joined our little club of DS MINIs. The only problem is finding somewhere to meet and have a soda and burger. I guess here will have to do until someone perfects teleporting.

 

Are you suggesting some sort of Dark Silver Mini Takes the States road trip?
