Someone just backed into my mini, do you think I should go to the dealer?

Hi ya'll,

Their insurance is paying everything and I know I can pick the place of my choice to do the repairs. But since almost all of the work is bodywork I'm not sure if it would be better for me to pick a local bodyshop recommended by a friend or instead take it to the mini dealer. Do most dealers farm their bodywork out to subcontractors anyways?

If it was your mini what would you do? (Also I'll need to have them pay for this non mini aftermarket stripe)

Any advice appreciated ;-)

I'd take it to a reputable body shop. Most dealers don't do body work to my knowledge.

Sorry your Mini got injured! Hope you're back on the road soon!

When someone backed into Gollum I took it to Mini of Peabody, and their subcontractor did flawless work.

MoP is part of the Lyon Waugh Auto Group, including BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, and Mini. ALL of the dealerships use the same shop.

So it might be worth inquiring - it could put a good option on the table for you.

Cheers,

Charlie
