When's the 4th Gen. Mini coming out?

The G3 started in 2014, so very soon will be its 7th year. The Gen 2 lasted 7 years. I think the Gen 1 only 5 or 6. I skipped the Gen 3 model, but I'd like to think about a Gen 4. Anyone have any idea when?

The GP models have historically been the last year for the current generation 3-door model... So... If the GP3 is going to be a 2020 model... 2021?

Yeah there's a GP3 thread on the Gen 3 JCW forum, I think it's due out as a 2020 later this year. Maybe Mini will have an RV in the Gen 4 lineup lol.

There's a Motoring File article about the Gen4 Mini. This site won't let me post a URL link evidently. Says the Gen4 will probably be in the 2023 model year. So 3 more years for the F series. Says Mini will probably develop the platform with Great Wall, a Chinese company. The current F series platform is too expensive and the cars are getting pretty big so they might go smaller and cheaper (and maybe all electric) with the Gen4. I may make my last Mini a nice loaded up 2022 JCW Clubman! Those cars are pretty deluxe.

Basically, if you like your gas powered MINI hold on to it because they are going to be gone.

I've had my JCW Coupe for 5 years now. It's still in primo condition and handles like a track car but I'll probably go for a 2021 or 22 JCW Clubman before it's all over with. Get one of those "Lincoln Continental" Minis lol.
