Looks amazing- Besides taking good care of your car, it is a classic design that seems to have been diluted with each subsequent generation. Hang on to it!

Agree 100% on your observation about subsequent generations. 2006 was the last year that Mini Cooper had nearly pure BMW DNA. Not so much anymore. Mine has a Getrag gearbox in it, something that makes it special. I've thought about trading for a BMW 230i convertible but have not been able to pull the trigger because the Mini has never had any problems, even after all these years.

Yes! That's what I was hoping to hear from a few owners. I've only been in Nevada for 5 months, I wonder how long before my paint evaporates.

I drove the car real hard the first 18 months I had it, the first set were shot by 37,000 miles. The subseqent sets have been rotated regularly, and with a lot of highway miles have performed well. All of the replacement tires have been Continental and purchased and mounted at the dealership.
