What is my new MINI's Designation/Abbreviation

2017 Mini Cooper S Clubman ALL4

I know I have read it is a F54 Designation, but how does one abbreviate "officially"

MCCS or MCSC

When I look at how dealers list them and how Mini refers to it on their site, it is written as Cooper S Clubman = MCSC

However,

I found an old site that showed the Cooper Clubman S listed = MCCS

Yes a technicality, but I am a first time to be MINI owner and just want to know which is right?:roll:

I didn't think Clubman's were called Cooper's as well. They're not Cooper's, they're a completely different model. I don't know what you'd call it besides F54.

That's interesting. I know MiniUSA's site list them as a Cooper S Clubman, as does the Dealer's websites ??? I actually haven't any idea as this is to be my first MINI and was just wondering...

Maybe they are officially, but I wouldn't call a Clubman a Cooper Clubman. It's just a Clubman. The Cooper is its own model. Just call it an F54, that's shorter anyway.

All MINIs are Coopers. The Clubman is the Cooper (or Cooper S) Clubman, the Countryman is the Cooper (or Cooper S) Countryman, etc. A Cooper S Clubman is MCSC, and a Convertible is MCSc.

I don't agree with that, but I guess from an official perspective that's correct.

Yes, I agree and the 2 door f56 Cooper is called a Hardtop.
