Used to ride in one of those as a kid. Friends family had one. When you got in the car and it started the air suspension would lift you up, pretty cool for a youngster at the time.

When I was stationed in Germany in the early 70s, a buddy of mine had one. That car floated down the road like a boat. Don't know if it was true, but he said you could remove a wheel without a jack using the air suspension..

Yes, that is true. I've seen videos--I believe they demo that in the Jay Leno's Garage episode about the "Goddess". (DS -> "Deesse" -> "Goddess" in French.)
