Official Certificate of Your MINI's Name
 

Saw this information posted elsewhere and found it quite interesting. Apparently, MINI owners/lessees in the UK can e-mail their MINI’s name, model, and UK registration number (license plate #) to facebook@mini.co.uk. If the owner/lessee includes their name and address, MINI UK registers the MINI's name and sends the owner/lessee an official certificate. I don't know if MINI USA does this. Nor do I know if MINI UK does this for American MINI owners. I'm awaiting delivery of my '14 MCS Roadster, so I don't even have a license plate. TIFWIW.

Now that would be cool! :cool:

I'll try to find out.

Spent some time at BMW Mini Facebook. Found no trail to certificate, although on one post Mini asked if a customer had named his/her Mini. Nothing more was written about that. So maybe it's just a facebook@mini.co.uk and not here in the US.

We could ask our local dealership to see if something like that is available here?

I dont think the USA has this, we just had sticker that go in the door jam as dealer adverts. And this :

Yeah, I might ask Seattle MINI when I'm there next, although I'm not sure when that would be as most of my services have been completed very recently.

I might go with the certificate in your link or might see what I can come up with.
