Sorry for the crappy picture. (other, hopefully more interesting pictures to follow)

To be honest, I wouldn't have known about the 'MINI wave' but for the NAM website. No one at the MINI dealership said anything. I believe most MINI owners outside NAM have no clue regarding the 'wave'.

This is why I have been saying for years that the dealers need to train their SA's and MA's about the wave. I think it should be part of their training.
MINI owners have their own global culture from what I can see. Just look at all the MINI rallies and events worldwide. You would think MINI employees would be trained to advance the particular mystique that surrounds the car. MINI is not just another vehicle IMO.

Happy to say, my MA told me to wave to other Minis.
Then again he tried to get to join Philly Mini as well... and is a member himself..
So I guess he's an exception... (and he was a outstanding sales person.)

Excellent! Glad to hear an MA doing his job. I like my MA, but he strikes me as more of a professional salesman than a MINI enthusiast. However, he does believe in the MINI product - he bought a '13 Pepper White Roadster. The BMW salesmen in the building look like well-groomed sharks from Wall Street.

Yet another reason not to issue a dealership a "perfect 10."

I seem to recall that I got some piece of MINI literature that addressed doing the wave, but for the life of me, I can't seem to find it. If I do, I'll post it.
