windshield washer won't spray
 

I own a 2004 S. My windshield washers are not spraying any fluid, the resevoir is full with windshield washer solution and I hear a humming sound from the area of the resevoir when I try to get the washers to spray. unfortunatley nothing comes out. If anyone has any suggestions as to the fix, please share.

Did you let the reservoir run empty? If you were trying to use the washer jets without any fluid in the system, the lines are probably all dry, so you will need to allow the lines to fill up before they pump.

Either that or the pump had been disconnected. It happened to a friend of mine. Spray it for a little while then check under the hood for any moisture.

I have had the jets in other (older) cars plug up with washer fluid residue. I was able to unplug it with a pin.

Common problem with any vehicle.
