My "last" MINI new car purchase survey: MINI-van questions?

I completed my "last" (they claimed) MINI new car purchase survey a few days ago.

I thought it interesting that they asked 5-6 questions about "minivans". Did I think they were useful, would I drive one, etc.

Curious.

I recall some (Photoshopped?) MINI MPV-sorta photos earlier this year, and now with these survey questions, wondered if MINI might be considering such.

Fine by me: our third vehicle is our Mazda 5 GSD-hauler. I chose it since it's more accurately a micro-van, has some of the Mazda 3 zoom-zoom DNA, returns decent fuel economy, and was the only vehicle in its USA class offered with a MT. It would be great to have a choice in the space with a good dose of MINI DNA: even tighter handling, Youification, turbo power, and so on.

I don't have any particular phobia about this class of vehicle, they're darned useful for so many things. Back when I *did* have soccer kids in the house, I owned a Windstar LX, nice leather interior, upgraded V6, and always daydreamed of building a SHO-star out of it. Made many, many Dallas-to-STL, STL-to-Orlando transits in it, 5 passengers with luggage and accouterment for a week somewhere.
