The New Official Peerage of the Pepper White
Greetings, Peerage of the Pepper White brethren:
Per ASK MINI, my Roadster S supposedly begins production this week. Then straight from England to Baltimore, MD, a 2 hour drive to Sterling, VA. I'm hoping to join all PW MINI owners on the road by the end of September, perhaps beginning of October, if all goes well. My patience wears thin...

Thanks, my friend. The last ASK MINI guy could not give a specific start date for production, yet he was able to project next Tuesday for completion. Say what? Just last Friday, my MA assured me I would receive my Roadster by the Sales Manager's given ETA of September 26th. Nonetheless, I remain skeptical.
Sure, just the badge up front, some OEM all weather floor mats, and I plasti dipped my wheels matte black. Thats it so far!
I quote you as saying "so far". I'm guessing there may be modifications to come. The plasti dip process is amazing to me. I never heard of it until I joined NAM.
I posted the statement below in the "Support Group for 2014" thread, but I thought it appropriate to pass the word along to members of the PW Peerage:
Update!
My Roadster S began production at 7:55 BST (British Summer Time) this morning! I have a VIN! Hopefully, "John Bull" will board ship in England early next week for the voyage to Baltimore.

Definitely on my list (probably next spring) is a set of either 17" or 18" wheels and tires. I've been going back and forth on adding some graphics to the sides of the car. Other than that, just stickers and badges. Little things. Oh, and maybe, potentially, probably some kind of catback exhaust. I'd love it just a little bit meaner.
I'd heard of it, but had never tried it. I just didn't feel the tug of the mod. Now that I have a car that I'm truly passionate about - I feel like messing with everything!

thanks! I got rear ended about 6 months ago.. damaged the trunk and rear bumper mainly, but had to get half the car repainted.
So I talked to the body shop about redoing the clear coat on the entire car using PPG Flex N Flat, which was no problem for them... had to pay for the clear coat out of pocket, but was still cheaper than a whole redone paint job and they did a great job

Wow the satin coat looks amazing! Im itching to mod mine (just a little bit). Originally i was thinking about new rims but maybe ill plasdip the oem ones first? And after many (women) saying how "cute" my car is i think i need some racing stripes too...
Oh: i have a '11 Clubman S, pepper white with black roof. And i bought it (used) with the grey union jack side and rear view mirrors. LOVING it so far.
Edit: can i get #217

I don't know. Perhaps the guy running the threadis no longer around. I'd like a number too. You want to take over? The Peerage is pretty cool, so I'd like to keep it going.
How would one take over? I know there's a master list, but can it be changed/updated by someone other than the OP?
Greetings!
Hi All, I am a recent purchaser of a very used, but in fabulous shape, 2008 Cooper S Clubbie, seamless auto trans, and naturally in the only proper colour for a MINI - Pepper White! This little beast has a brown leather interior, with white piping and door/dash trim, and a shiny black finish on various dash and door parts. I have no idea what "packages" the car has, as it came from out-of-province and had no documentation with it (the Owners Manual and radio book etc., are in the leather portfolio, but no service records or original purchase details). I love discovering all sorts of interesting things about this car, nearly every time I drive it! From Ambient Lighting, through "Secret" dash storage boxes, to how this beast transforms from a stiffly sprung rocket in the city to a smooth missile on the highway! This Forum is a fabulous source of information about the good, the bad, and the downright ugly, aspects of MINI ownership! Thanks to everybody!
Just to make this post relevant to something, please register me on the PW Registry!
Cheers!

Also, you can try this vin decoder to get the "basics" of installed features/options. It's a start.

However, for a more detailed report, you may want to go to your local MINI dealer and have them look it up for you. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to do it.
Happy motoring and don't forget to wave!!! :-)
Pics
Here are a couple of pics of my beast, the day I bought it! We are about to head out on a road trip through New England ending up on Cape Cod, so I hope to grab some "Vacation Pics" of the Clubbie! Will post whatever looks good!
Cheers!
