Craven Speed Platypus License Plate Holder setup?
Hi,
Please help me decide what looks the best. (well balanced) A, B, or C. (from high to low / 12 o'clock, 10 o'clock, 9 o'clock) https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ium/PLATE8.jpg Thanks |
+1 for option B

None :)

I like A, that's how I have my GMG plate bracket [although mine is a SLIGHT bit higher] doesn't disturb/block any grilles/vents/ducts:

HAHA! I kinda have to agree with you. Now that I put it on, not really digging the off center look. (it works for the Mitsu Evo IMO) I just did not want to drill into the front bumper so I instructed the dealer not to put the front plate and ordered the Craven Speed.
I have mine mounted like "A" in your pics. The nice thing about the platypus is you can change the position whenever you like. |
So far.....
I got most of my poll responses through twitter. 95% votes for "B". I am not worried about covering any of the vent holes. Its purely for balance. Currently I have it setup on "C". I left the top right corner screw off. Its the only nut that comes close to the bumper. I tore off the cushion that is a part of the Craven Speed box and put it between the License plate and the Craven Speed back plate. |
