No worries! Yeah, the Manual isn't all that intuitive either... BMW might design and build wonderful cars, but their documentation leaves something to be desired...

Worse: a German puzzle designer...!

I don't have a Clubman, but am I the only one who thinks that they added the extra space to the wrong place? Instead of giving you more space behind the rear seat (boot), wouldn't it have more more sense to give the rear seat passengers more (or any) legroom? As for the car beeping when you lock it, this is a problem with all MINIs and BMW's unless you have the alarm system. It makes no sense to me not to have some sound when the car locks whether you have an alarm system or not. Heck, the car has a horn, right?

There is 3" more leg room in the back of a Clubman than in a hardtop.

Exactly what I was going to say. There is noticeably more space for rear seat passengers than in the hardtop.

I guess I stand corrected except that 1" + 3" is still only 4". I think my point is still valid in that they could have made the rear seat really hospitable for adults. I suppose, however, if one carried a good amount of stuff in the boot on a regular basis or made a lot of overnight trips the extra room in the boot would be welcomed.

That's what we're saying. It IS "really hospitable". I'm 5'9" and if I put the seat where I sit while driving I can fit in the back with room to spare. There's actually more rear passenger space in the Clubbie than in my '11 A4 Avant.

Better quality control
Better engine that isnt quite so complex or potentially failure prone.
Actual Gauges that I dont have to install.
Move the cupholders.
Rear side windows that open, like on a minivan, for better airflow.
Actual Gauges that I dont have to install.
An opaque sun shade or electrochromic sunroof (good luck w/ costing that one).
Auto open and auto-close sunroof.
Auto close windows/sunroof from the remote that I dont have to go in and reprogram the body control computer to activate.
Club door on driver's side.
Actual Gauges that I dont have to install.
Smaller frame between windows on the club door(s).
Smaller frame between windows on the rear doors.
Add another 50HP .......... or so (LOL)(shouldnt have to lose to a Mazdaspeed 3)
Perhaps a little more differentiation between a Justa and an S in body kitting, come on you dropped the extra cash, lets flash some bling .............
And did I mention, actual gauges that I dont have to install myself?
