I Don't Love My Saris Bones
 

Hi All,

I bought the Saris Bones 3 (a rear bike rack) for my MINI Cooper S (Nigel). I don't love it!

I find that when I put my bike (nevermind two) on the rack, it starts to loosen and pulls away from the car. I've taken it back to to the dealer and the salesperson and they said the Saris is *not* great for the MINI because there is no place for the top arms to rest downward on the car.

I'm trying to figure out if I'm doing this wrong or if there is another rack that will not pull away from the car once bikes are on.

Any thoughts?

I hate those kind of racks. They always seem to damage the car. If you use it a lot you need the hitch mounted kind. Just do a search for bike rack and you should find tons of examples.
