First time trying out Optimum's line of products yesterday. Used Optimum No-Rinse to wash and Opti-Seal as a drying aid. Definitely saved time during the wash stage over the two-bucket method but lost some of it back while having to use towels to dry instead of my Master Blaster. Waiting my Optimum Car Wax to arrive today to finish it all off.

Thanks. I had to move the camera to the mirror though because I need to install an AFR gauge. Below is the new Mirror mount. Printed one for all 3 cars. Works great and with the wires tucked away it's very clean.

Nothing wrong with the boost gauge lol. Just not hooked up yet. Waiting to pull the IC to change the injectors to finalize it. Hopefully have time this week.

Do you have these designs posted on thingiverse for others to print? I've been looking for something like this for a long time.

My rear bumper gaurd came in today from outmotoring. Will install this weekend. Plus I snagged a set of BRG mirror caps for my mini. Will be here in a few day. Will be selling my chrome covers from my r50 if someone is interested.

Yeah, Miata rims have always been good for weight! I had a set of NA Miata 14s on my 82 VW Rabbit for a bit. They only weighed around 12lbs each! Those look great on the MINI!

With tint on all but the windshield and sunroof.
I’ll get some better pics this weekend after washing. If the freakin sun sticks around for a while.

Took mine out of storage today after almost 5 months. Battery was dead as a hammer. Jump started it and drove it around for a while, but it wouldn't build a charge. Ended up at AutoZone for a new battery. That was $189 I wasn't planning to spend today.
The guy behind the counter said "no problem", I'll swap it out for you. Heck, I didn't even realize what a pain it is to change one out. The AZ guy was definitely surprised, and not pleasantly. An hour later it was done. Have to say, the guy had a good attitude about it and said next time he has to do a Mini it'll take a lot less time because he'll know what to expect. I explained that on most of them he won't have to deal with removing and replacing the strut bar.
They were hesitant to even try to swap it out because the parts computer stated that the car was equipped with a smart charger and would have to be reprogrammed after installation af the new battery. I convinced them that at the most it would give me a CEL and I would take care of that if it did. Didn't have to do a thing other than hit the start switch and reset the clock. I'm a happy camper, especially after taking the long way home. Almost forgot how much fun the darn car is. Couple things left to do though. I put new plates on it today, but didn't realize until I was almost home that my state inspection sticker expired in December. Got to make an appointment for that at the same time I get my erl changed. Hopefully Wednesday.

Cheoah River release.

Overlook
Took the Bullet over to the Dragon for a run up and down. Ran into four other mini owners at Tapoco lodge and chatted about the cars. Great day!
On the dragon I played leap frog with a red w white top mini. He was from Ohio.
My wife only lets me push the curves on the dragon so far which is why I had to pull off a couple times... This car is soooooo much better than the stang! Love it.
Now to clean it back up.
