Last cosmetic replacement. The last owner removed part of the rear surround - it was cut around the license plate. I replaced it today - and of course it started raining on me (I floated it into place so the rain was just annoying.) Wondering if there is any value is saving the VIN off the last decal. Cut it out, save the whole remaining piece, not worth saving?

Sebastian, between Melbourne and Vero Beach. I worked in Panama City Beach for a few months and liked it. Very different than the southern part of the state.

I got really pissed off at my car since I can’t fit my hand in tight spaces. I installed my HPS short ram intake. Very pleased though with the finished product. Looks great fits great though. Doing my timing chain tensioner this weekend so it stops sounding like a diesel pickup. Should’ve arrived today but got delayed in shipping for some reason. Have to watch a few videos just to make sure I know what I’m doing and don’t mess something up

Started replacing my plastic trim today. Look so much better. Changed out my rear wiper motor. Was leaking fluid from the back. Waiting on my wire adapter.

Connected a Bovee bluetooth adapter to my R56 JCW. Now I have streaming music and the steering wheel controls work. Super simple to install and use.

I replaced my motor mounts.

Before

After

If you don't have a little gap under the rectangular plate on the top motor mount, yours needs replacing too. This was a pretty easy job to do in an hour. I jacked up just the right side of the car, and didn't even need to take the wheel off.

It's raining here in Phoenix and I had the privilege of witnessing two accidents on the way to work. People do not know how to drive in the rain in Phoenix.

Point... Mini stayed in his garage today... lol

Finished replacing all the black trim. Looks so much better. Then I tackled the fog light bulbs. What a pain the my rear. But I got the job done. My rear wiper motor wire adapter showed up yesterday. I installed it today. Now my rear wiper is working an spraying again. So tomorrow I get to have fun changing the passenger window motor. Once this is completed. My mini will be all refreshed.

Installed camber plates and changed air filter

I spent some quality time in the garage today with my son and my MINI. We installed the Ireland Engineering fixed camber plates, and replaced the engine air filter which was pretty bad. I've only had the car for ~3000 miles, and this is the first time I've checked it.

Redneck spring compressors

Mice? I don't see any other evidence, but vacuumed it out and replaced gross filter

What I did tony mini today

Started with BSH catch can. Cleaned windshield and glued down a new mounting strip for windshield cowl. And continued my search for oil leaks. Doing some prep work for tomorrow’s plans.

Changed my right door window motor. Then swapped my faulty door hinge stop with a salvaged one. Works like a champ
