This is Kirby's first winter so I stocked a little winter kit for the boot: ice scraper, gloves, swiss army knife, snacks, flashlight, handwarmers, windbreaker, jumper cables, and a reflective leash. Now if the weather turns bad and I get stuck out there, I'm fully prepared to address any errant eyebrow hairs with my swiss army tweezers.

LOL That made my night And the reflective leash? Is that used for walking Kirby on those cold snowy nights?

BLAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!! puke.

I gave my 'lil Cooper a compression and leak down tests and DID NOT LIKE the results.............
#1 - 4 as follows 100psi 105psi 130psi 130psi.
Leak down as follows 85% 85% 3% 3% Blowing compression from 1 to 2 and back again. THAT was the flapping noise that my son was hereing the last few MONTHS!!!!!
Head gasket blown between cyls. PRAYING I did not erode the cylinder head away. Cant see how it would not have though......
It got really hot during one of the Mini rallys we have every month here in S.L.C. My t/stat housing finaly started leaking, )GRRRRR) Funny, it ran about the same before and after it got hot. Just started making a noise at 3k and up under boost.
Ah well, like I don't have anything else to spend money on!!!!!!

What didn't you like about the vinyl? I'm thinking about doing that.

Yesterday had my end-lease inspection and looks like no charges expected. I had my winter wheel and tires installed at the time so I am very curious what crazy charge MINI will put on the estimate - I have to wait 3 days to see the report. Of course when I return the car with OE wheels and tires all will be fine.

Then today I drove around in the rain...

But this morning, I got an email... My JCW hatch just went into production today!! I need to steal someone else' sig pic of a EG/CR hatch until delivery ;-)

Not as goofy as it sounds, I swear! I keep a leash in the car because at home the dog gets in/out of the car off leash, but he's leashed to go into doggie daycare, vet, etc. The reflective leash has the added benefit that if I'm on the side of the road I can clip it around me to be more visible.

That's my story, anyway.

Well that is boring! I would whip it around and dance on the side of the road. But that's just me...

Woke up to 6" of snow in Denver today! I need to shovel my way out to the garage and check my battery in the MINI.
